Kris Morse was born in East Chicago, Indiana and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. During his adolescence, he attended Pinson Valley High School in the Pinson suburb of Birmingham, Alabama.
Shortly after graduating high school, he attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. This is where Kris would receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.
While studying at the university, Kris became a member of the Finance Club. Not only did he become a member, but during his senior year at UAB, he won the Bond Portfolio competition.
However, those previous accomplishments would not be the only ones that Kris would receive. During his undergraduate career, he wrote two papers that were successfully published.
One paper focused on a study of media saturation in the populace, specifically as it relates to children. Kris wrote his other paper on one of his all-time favorite novels: The Great Gatsby.
While attending college, Morse worked for the law firm of Smith & Ely as a paralegal. Following his graduation, Kris worked for a small wealth management firm that focused on transferring wealth through generations while minimizing taxes.
During this time, Kris felt the call of the legal field, which was the major influence on his decision to pursue a career in the field of law. While attending The Birmingham School of Law, Kris returned to work for the law firm of Smith & Ely, then later the firm of Ely & Isenberg.
The two firms specialized in insurance defense litigation and insurance coverage issues, specifically representing Travelers Insurance Company and their subsidiaries. In January 2022, Kris Morse joined the law firm of Pepper & Odom practicing personal injury law in Birmingham, Alabama.
Kris Morse has the admittance to practice in all states and local courts in the state of Alabama and the United States District Courts.
