Anastasia Griffin

Anastasia Griffin

Anastasia Griffin is a lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi. She graduated from Murrah High School in 2010 before attending the University of Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English in 2014.

Following graduation, Anastasia was selected for a legal fellowship with Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During her fellowship, she conducted extensive cold case research across Mississippi, working alongside legal professionals and investigators to
review unresolved cases. Through this work, she played a role in helping bring resolution to a decades-old cold case—an experience that further strengthened her commitment to the pursuit of
justice.

History

Anastasia received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2019. While in law school, she gained valuable judicial experience clerking for James W. Kitchens at the Mississippi Supreme Court, as well as for the Ninth District Circuit Court in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

In addition to her clerkships, Anastasia dedicated her time to public service by volunteering with Mission First Legal Aid Office and interning with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (MVLP) in Jackson, Mississippi. During her time with MVLP, she assisted with numerous expungement and family law clinics, experiences that further strengthened her commitment to providing high-quality legal services to individuals and families in underserved communities.

After earning her law degree, Anastasia began her legal career as a law clerk with a private firm, where she gained practical experience in matters involving divorce, estates, probate, and real estate. She later served as an Attorney Advisor with the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), where she interpreted federal regulations, ensured compliance in high volume commercial loan authorizations, and advised managers and loan officers on legal ethics and regulatory compliance.

Furthermore, Anastasia has worked as a litigation consultant, assisting large law firms in preparing complex matters for litigation, including cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, antitrust, pharmaceutical, and product liability claims. These experiences have provided her with a broad understanding of both transactional and litigation-focused legal practice.

In her practice, Anastasia represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters, guiding cases from initial intake through resolution. She manages each stage of the litigation process while maintaining clear and consistent communication with her clients, ensuring they remain informed and supported throughout the life of their case.

Today, Anastasia works as a licensed personal injury attorney in Ridgeland, Mississippi at the office of Pepper & Odom. She is committed to providing dedicated and effective representation to clients of all ages, backgrounds, and professions throughout Mississippi
